08/01/08 - The bash for Tash was a great success! We all had a great time; there was much rocking and much alcohol consumption. Big shout out to the birthday girl, big thanks to Jacqui for organising everything (and paying us :p) and everyone who turned up.

2007 was a great debut year for Passive Input, and we’d like to thank everyone that’s supported us through thick and thin. We have a great following who have rocked out with us at as many gigs as possible, and a dedicated backstage team who have helped made all this possible.

This year we hope to keep up the progress, and details of 2008 tour dates will be released shortly. Anyone interested in booking Passive Input feel free to email us at the usual address., you can also request a demo DVD. Thanks again to all our fans, and hope to see you at a gig in the near future.

One last note…..

25/11/07 - Rock for Rag was a huge success, raising over €500 for the rag week charities. Passive Input would like to thank both The Will & Freddie Experience and The Guests for warming up the crowd, all the people behind the scenes who made the event possible, and most of all the audience themselves. There was a constant moshpit, three crowd surfers, two stage divers, and that doesn’t include members of the band! Dan joined the moshpit and Andy surfed it several times. We knew it was a good show when we heard ‘Passive Input’ being chanted constantly between songs! By far the best audience we’ve ever had, for those about to rock, we salute you!

Pictures and videos to follow.

12/11/07 - Ok a bit of news for you. We are currently planning our final ever gig. Due to happen on the 14th June 2008 it will be the last time we play before we all bugger of to uni. We are going all out for this one and welcome your ideas to the usual address. Currently we are planning for an all out party, beer, nudity (hopefully female but Andy might take off his clothes again), fireworks and even some Dick and Dom style "creamy muck muck".

This will be the best gig in the history of gig's and were currently raising funds for it now. The Passive Input condoms alone will cost us £200. Location is currently under debate (outside preferably) and if you have a large open space to rent we want to hear from you! The entry fee will be 1x Underwear of some description to throw at Andy (ala our very first gig).

11/11/07 - I woke up today to find amongst the remnants of last nights drinking there was a Passive Input DVD. Yes, available free at our gigs is this rather nifty disk containing our fun and games we had at the gig in the civilian mess.

18/10/07 - This weeks Sixth Sense has a small article about our upcoming gig

9/7/07 - Aha we made it into the latest copy of The Bulletin!

They even remembered to put the website on there!!

4/7/07 - You may be wondering why we haven't got round to updating this site in such a long time. Well basically we have been getting pissed and acting like cocks.

In other news when we were actually sober we decided to make our own Cribs parody (woefully named "Crabs") You will be relieved to note we didn't use any rap music in it. You may be even more relieved to note we also didn't use any music from the band.

27/6/07 - As you should know by now we like to do our bit to support worthwhile charities. We would like to take this opportunity to ask for support for our manager Neil and his college Nige who will be taking part in the Nijmegen marches, walking 200 km in 4 days to raise money for SANDS, a charity which offers support for parents and their families whose babies are stillborn or die during or soon after birth. Please check out this link for more information, and sponsor them if you can. Thank you.

21/6/07 - We made the latest issue of Sixth Sense!

17/6/07 - Last night was amazing, if you weren't able to turn up then check out the video to see what you missed.

In other news we sold all of our CD's in one night! We have 2 new badge designs that will be added to our merchandise page soon get them while you can!

15/6/07 - Today we recorded a demo CD, which we've called 'Tribute to Roots' and features covers of 3 of the songs that have influenced the band.

The tracks are:

Teenage Kicks - As made famous by The Undertones

Smells Like Teen Spirit - As made famous by Nirvana

Scars (Acoustic) - As made famous by Papa Roach

The CD will be available at all gigs from now on. After this weekends gig, we will begin work on recording our own material.

A reminder that tomorrows gig is private, so don't bother coming along if you're not a mess member or guest, because you will not be allowed in.

14/6/07 - We have made this weeks copy of 6th Sense! If you cant be arsed to buy a copy (lets face it other than us its pretty dull) then check out this video of Dan proudly reading it!

12/6/07 - As some of you may be aware, Saturdays gig at the ARRC was filmed using our handy broomstick-cam, and we currently have our media team working on editing the video. Very soon there will be some clips in the galleries section, and with any luck a DVD of the show will be available for as cheap as we can possibly flog it!

As we mentioned yesterday, we will be selling pin badges at gigs from now on for €1. We have the first of these badges made now, and they're very stylish indeed, so look out for them.

11/6/07 - We currently have the facilities to make badges! We currently have 2 designs that are selling for €1 each and you can check them out on our merchandise page. Expect to see them at our gigs soon.

10/6/07 - Last nights gig at the ARRC was awesome, big thanks to everyone who came along and supported the event. We raised €100.23 for the Afghan Appeal, and everyone had a great time.

7/6/07 - Ok so the site is up and running in time for our gig on Saturday. Please take a look around and see what we have going on here.
